We started blogging our life as best friends, husband and wife, in 2006 shortly after we got married. Once we had children, I created a new blog for our growing family. This is our blog sharing the story of our life: beginning with our first pregnancy and our journey as parents to our beloved firstborn, BB1, who arrived in our world perfectly on 11.5.2010 and his precious sister, BB2, born on 10.6.2012, our sweet third baby, BB3, born 2.3.2015, our 3rd vivacious daughter, BB6, born on 5.1.2018 and our 2nd living son and final Bruffey Baby, BB8, born 6.23.2021. We also love our 3 greatly missed babies in Heaven, BB4 (born in Heaven at 5 weeks 5 days on 10.8.2016) BB5 (born still at 16 weeks on 2.5.2017), and BB7 (born in Heaven at 7 weeks 3 days on 10.23.2019). I will share my stories of our family, of being a wife, a mother, a home manager, a friend, a woman, a Hope Mom, and a person pursuing hope in Christ through life and death, joy and pain. Welcome to our journey!

"Show me the path where I should walk, O LORD; point out the right road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you."

Playdate for Mama and Jacob

Jacob and I met up with our friends Michelle and Connor (and Connor's new little brother, Gavin) at Fort Worth's Celebrations Indoor Adventure play place! It is a NEAT place, especially for little ones!

Jacob was thrilled by the car area that had all these different ride-on toys! At first, he got on a car and then just watched some of the other kids, taking it all in as he figured out what to do.

Love this boy!!

Here, he's laughing at the other kids riding really fast.

He so loves watching other kids!

Here are Connor and Jacob.

How cool is this place?? And this is just part of it!

OH! I see another car!

I've gotta try this!

Off I go, Mama!

Then, on to another play area with a train table!

He loved the plastic animals - this, as he is telling a woman sitting nearby, is a "BE COW!" (meaning, big cow)

They had a bounce house - this is the first time I let Jacob get in one - there were no big kids to trample the littles, so he got to climb in and out and jump - so fun!

He liked using the entrance ramp as a bouncy slide!

Up he goes!

Connor and Jacob in the bounce house!

On to the playhouse!

Jacob's favorite way to slide!

They also have several (like 5 or 6) little play house areas that have different themes - dress up and a museum and a train track, etc. Off to the side is a whole music area with a stage and instruments - so awesome!

Most of the shots I went for were like this - Jacob running and me catching just part of him having fun!

I kept thinking of Forrest Gump - where Jacob goes... he. is. runnnning!

Thanks to Michelle and Connor for a great morning, time to catch up, and perfect place for our boys to play!
