We continue to work to get our nursery ready for Baby Ruth, which involves transforming Jacob's room into a "big boy" toddler room. It is a one-step-at-a-time process. Today, we got Jacob's bookshelf built and in place, both rooms vacuumed and carpet cleaned in the nursery, and the glider/ottoman and changing table moved into the nursery. Tomorrow, we plan to get Jacob's dresser built and in place and a little bit more rearranging done - and that should fill our weekend!
Jacob's reading area!
We have a LOT more books than we realized when we bought our bookshelf (at IKEA!)
We have the 3 shelves for the bookshelf that we plan to mount to the wall over the shelf to put more of the books on.
This is where Jacob's dresser will go!
This is where the glider used to be - so nostalgic remembering all the times of nursing and rocking and reading with my boy!
Jacob's room slowly becomes a toddler room!
This is the current state of the office-becoming-nursery! Changing table in place, though it may move... and floors cleaned... a lot to do, but it is slowly becoming our little girl's room! The black office chair will probably go in Jacob's room as a place to sit and read with Mama and Daddy.
So fun getting our house in order!
