We started blogging our life as best friends, husband and wife, in 2006 shortly after we got married. Once we had children, I created a new blog for our growing family. This is our blog sharing the story of our life: beginning with our first pregnancy and our journey as parents to our beloved firstborn, BB1, who arrived in our world perfectly on 11.5.2010 and his precious sister, BB2, born on 10.6.2012, our sweet third baby, BB3, born 2.3.2015, our 3rd vivacious daughter, BB6, born on 5.1.2018 and our 2nd living son and final Bruffey Baby, BB8, born 6.23.2021. We also love our 3 greatly missed babies in Heaven, BB4 (born in Heaven at 5 weeks 5 days on 10.8.2016) BB5 (born still at 16 weeks on 2.5.2017), and BB7 (born in Heaven at 7 weeks 3 days on 10.23.2019). I will share my stories of our family, of being a wife, a mother, a home manager, a friend, a woman, a Hope Mom, and a person pursuing hope in Christ through life and death, joy and pain. Welcome to our journey!

"Show me the path where I should walk, O LORD; point out the right road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you."

Back in Fort Worth!

After an amazing Christmas celebration with family in Houston, Josh, Emma, Jacob, and I returned to Fort Worth. The day after we got back, we had a "downtime" kind of day and played, went to a local park (where Jacob ran around outside for the first time - we've tried a couple times, but he usually just stands in place looking confused, lol!), went to the library and borrowed a book and some movies... it was an awesome post-Christmas day!

The night we got home, Emma snuggled down, watched a movie and enjoyed some reese's peanut butter bells from my mother.

The next day (12/28) I made a huge pan of chicken spaghetti, which we ate on until 1/1/12! I froze some to take to my MOPS table group leader who had her 2nd child on 12/24.

That afternoon, we went to the park and Jacob toooook off playing outside for the first time.

What, Mama? I've got places to GO!

Sigh - I LOVE this shot - these 2 cousins have had an amazing 2 weeks! I believe they'll always have a special bond and pray they still are making memories years from now!

I remember when SHE was so little - and now she is on the verge of being a young woman!

Tennessee state gymnast!

Emma wanted a cousin photoshoot on this awesome rock, but Jacob wasn't as into it...

So, we let him run around and I took some pics of her! Beautiful! I cannot believe she'll be 10 in May!

Jacob swung by himself (without someone holding the swing the whole time)!

He had a blast!

Look at this Mama!

WEEEEE!

And, he slid from Emma to me on his own for the first time.

Where, oh where, oh where is Emma?!

There she is!

Watch me go!

She is fearless!

Ready to soar!

They have so much fun together!

Watch me go so super fast, Mama!

Catch me if you can, Emma!

What is in my tunnel?

It's Emma!

Hey, come back here!

They had the best day and I LOVED being a part of their playing, loving, laughing moments!
