For our MLK holiday with Josh home, we were treated to a great visit from Tante Maren and Markus! Jacob was so excited! I asked him last night when he was ready for bed and in his sleep sack (that is still loves to sleep in!) if he wanted to see Markus. He giggled with excitement and then said, "Sleep sack off?" I told him we'd have to wait until the next day. He warmed up quickly (he takes a bit to warm up even to people he knows) and gave Tante Maren the biggest Jacob hug ever! He gives the BEST hugs just like his Daddy! Maren and I had a great time catching up and sharing the day while Josh got some play time with the boys before taking Kylee to see our vet. Ruth Evelyn took 2 good naps and shared her smiles and giggles and tummy time and snuggles with our guests. It was a nice, relaxing day of friendship and delighting in our boys as they played! And Ruth Evelyn showed her blossoming extroverted personality as she tried to join in chatting with me and her Tante Maren!

Thank you for sharing your holiday with us, Maren and Markus! We love y'all and will so miss seeing you more regularly as God leads us to Lubbock, but know He'll always appoint times for us to connect and enjoy one another!
