After Ruth's morning nap, we took a picnic lunch to a local park a new friend introduced us to shortly after we moved to Lubbock. I love that it has shade over the playground so it doesn't get too hot for the kiddos!
Jacob had a great time playing "with friends" (other children who were there) and swinging in a big swing!
The last time we came there was a picnic table and benches here, but they were taken down, so we made it a true picnic instead! Glad we had this blanket in the car!
A fun day in gorgeous weather. A blessing that brought brightness to our week!
